privacy policy
NostalgicFlow collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising and no servers of our own. Your library, history and settings never leave your device.
1. who we are
NostalgicFlow is an iOS music player developed by Curreri Studio. For anything in this policy, write to [email protected].
2. data we collect
None. The app does not collect, transmit or store any personal data on any server. Specifically, it contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK, no advertising framework, no advertising identifier (IDFA), and no tracking of any kind as defined by Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. We never ask for your name, email or any account.
3. data that stays on your device
Everything the app needs is stored locally in its own sandbox on your device. We have no access to it:
- Imported music files, their tags and artwork.
- Playlists, favourites and playback history.
- Podcast subscriptions and saved playback positions.
- Radio favourites and recently played stations.
- Equalizer, language, theme and visualizer preferences.
4. permissions
- Apple Music & Media Library — asked for only when you choose to use your Apple Music library. Playback runs through Apple's MusicKit; your listening is subject to Apple's Privacy Policy, and no personal data from it reaches us.
- Files — importing music uses the system document picker. The app can read only the specific files or folders you select. It never scans your device on its own.
Both permissions can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings. The rest of the app keeps working without them.
5. network connections
The app goes online only for features that require it, and only when you use them:
- Live radio — the open station directory radio-browser.info and the audio stream of whichever station you play.
- Podcasts — Apple's iTunes Search API to find shows, plus the RSS feeds and episode files of the shows you subscribe to.
- Apple Music — Apple's own services, when that library is in use.
As with any internet request, those providers can see the ordinary technical details of the connection, such as your IP address. We add no identifier of our own, we send them nothing about you, and we receive nothing back beyond the content requested. Each provider handles that data under its own privacy policy.
6. retention and deletion
Because nothing is collected, there is nothing for us to retain or delete on our side. Data stored on your device stays there for as long as you keep it: you can clear individual items inside the app, and deleting NostalgicFlow from your device removes all of it permanently.
7. children
NostalgicFlow is not directed at children under 13. It collects no personal information from anyone, of any age.
8. your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. We hold no personal data about you, so there is nothing for us to hand over or erase — the data is already entirely in your own hands, on your own device. We do not sell or share personal information, because we have none.
9. changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with an updated effective date, and material changes are noted in the app's release notes.
